I'll be at Upton Park in April for our game so I will.

1. Support the lads.
2. Check that our noise levels equal or beat that at the Emirates and other away grounds; and
3. Look forward to us getting a great result.

Their forum post is unbelievable. Strikes me that little old CPFC is teaching the rest of the PL (and a lot of the Champ teams with one or two notable exceptions) how to support your team come what may.

Makes me proud to be Palace.

I wouldn't be bothered if the drum was dropped and broke, never to be replaced. What that thing achieved isn't required anymore and all it really does now is drown out a lot of songs from elsewhere.

There were times early on at &rsenal when people got songs going that could've had the whole end singing but because of the drum and songs only allowed to start from that corner because of it, everyone had to wait for them to exhaust the bouncing up and down to the beat of the drum.

"To the beat of the drum, bang, To the beat of the drum, bang, bang, bang."

Hated hearing it on the TV at Blackburn, have got used to it mostly, only it does still irritate in parts.

Totally agree Rudi. At Arsenal it became a them and us at times, HF were singing one thing the other 3400 fans something else. I like the HF but the drum was banging constantly and not always in time with the masses.

West Ham have obviously erased the tracksuited chavs throwing melons and other fruit from the market at Millwall's younger crowd near Upton Park station. Selective memories. And they attract those from the Essex/Herts border who are Towie div embarrassments.

ERRR GUVNOR DID I EVER TELL YA ABOUT THE TIME I WAS IN THE BLIND BEGGAR. There soft Essex ponces I have the displeasure of living in Essex and being surrounded by them they dress flash but the stench of poverty hangs around them. They all whack on the moody stone island and act like they were part of the ice cream factory. If anyone remembers rightly they only became famous when they put themselves on tv because they never did anything worthy of notice. They are soft Essex flanges and think they are gods gift and are as bitter as anything. "WE WON THE WORLD CUP" I find it hard to not dislike west ham.

Love the drum.
The HF have their songs, but the rest of the Holmesdale sing the more traditional songs, so people should really listen a bit more carefully before they criticise.
When alls said and done how can I take anything seriously from a team that has a f***in' bubble blowing machine at the side of the ground. What was that about organised support.........

Love the drum.

.

Wouldn't want it next to me at Selhurst, banging away in my eardrums !

Went to Notts Co v Torquay few years ago and was amongst the Torquay supporters (Complimentary ticket !).There was a drum banging away but thankfully not too near me.
