Can anyone remember the last time we played well when it was lashing it down. Poor performances against newcastland Norwich this season, and Brighton away last season keep coming to mind, burnout actual good performances. I'm sure there must be a blatantly obvious one that I'm missing.

Stoke, although 'played well' may not be the correct phrase. But we won so F@%k it.

Well I remember the last time we played West Brom in the Prem at home, it was pouring with rain all game and we battered them 3-0.

Let's hope for a repeat.

Will Saturday be a game for keeping the ball in the air and avoiding the use of fancy footwork?

E.g.: IMO I wouldn't field Bolasie....

I was there ...in uncovered, unsegregated and all standing Holmsdale..watching Coleman's goal creep in when it we thought it would get struck in mud short of the line. Got thoroughly soaked ..but enjoyed it.
... Colemans goal

Whenever a team are facing superior oppposition there's a hope it will rain and facilitate sliding tackles and hold the ball up. In the rain against Arsenal Palace held out well on a sodden pitch but, equally, teams have done the same to us. I think this may be the case for some odd results.
