Hello there !

Hope you are looking forward to the game saturday ! Palace seem to be flying since we last played and have made some good signings !

I need some help, i am driving to the game saturday and have never been to Selhurst before.

Where is the best place to park, as i need to leave in the 80th minute as i need to rush back to the Midlands!

All the best for the rest of the season

Chris

I travel from Gosport each home game and to drive is a nightmare unless you get there mega early it's difficult to find a decent place for a quick get a way. I when ever I have to drive up park at a station outside of Croydon and catch the train in. South Croydon or Purley Oaks usually. A train leaves Selhurst at 1709 for South Croydon and Purley Oaks which are two & three stops respectively from Selhurst
Traffic after the game is dire and getting clear of Croydon can take ages.

Get there early enough (1pm) and you can park on the streets around ground, and if leaving 10 mins early, you should be able to get out pretty easily in comparisson to after full time

yep, i think you are best off, parking near a station on route from the Midlands and then commuting across London.

It will save you going around the M25 or through London as well.

If you are getting there early, around 1.45, then you'll probably get a space in the sainsburys car park right next to the ground.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

oh right, so if I leave my car on the sainsburys car park at about 1.30pm, and leave 9-10 minutes before the end I would be able to get away quite quick?

To be safe son punch Nugent Rd in your sat nav SE25 its 5mins walk from ground and if you get there no later than 1.45pm then you will be fine plus when you leave you will have a clear run out, well as clear as London allows..

I'd be careful about Sainsburys car park, haven't they put a time limit restriction in place?
