27, 6' 6" and before an injury setback, was looking very good. Experience at this level, and will help push Speroni. Without doubt an improvement over Price/Alexander, so a good signing. Welcome to the club Wayne!

can't understand this. Surely we need players who are going to play immediately - so Dann, Ince and Ledley if they are sign make sense to me (not saying they would be my 3 choices, but i can see Pulis's logic). However, Speroni is surely our No1 for the rest of this season, so why waste money on another goalie. If it's one for the future buy in the summer when we know what division we are in. Incidentally, good shot stopper but not great at crosses - regardless of his size.
