I see that we are no longer favorites to go down with Cardiff and Fulham taking over.

Anyone know when we stopped being favorites?

I think we were still favourites up until the midweek games.

I already posted about this. In fact we are still third favourite to go down, behind Cardiff and Fulham. The odds changed after our win on Tuesday and did not change after the Wednesday matches.

The right place at the right time

I fear we will be favourites again after the next 4 games !

I certainly think we will get closer to being favourite after the next four but I think Fulham will stay favourite for the rest of the season, they have a very hard run until the end and Cardiff have the easiest. It's going to be close.

As long as we keep the TP set-up for matches we'll do fine. And the more newspapers and other "experts" relegate us the better. Do wonders for the morale and "bleed for your club" attitude. Bring on Gunners that has just been pipped from the no 1 spot...

Why does anyone pay any attention to these odds ?

Bookmakers are there to make money, not accurately predict anything.

Quite right Finchley Eagle !!!

To be fair, the bookies make money by predicting things more accurately. If they gave odds of 100/1 for Man City to not get relegated they'd go out of business pretty quick.

They have risk analysts who spend their life predicting outcomes based on everything from form to future fixtures using historic data to better predict likely outcomes - so actually I think relegation odds are a good indication of how much work we have to do still but also (compared to where we were only a few months ago) - shows how far we have come.

have £500 on 6/5 that we go down and if it happens the blow will be softened by £600 profit and jet off to forget.if we stay up some things are worth more than money.

No he would get £1,100 back made up of his £500 original stake and £600 profit.
