Well on the train back. We lost and too be honest we deserved to, lack of passion till last few minutes.

All game we hcoupld control in the midfield, they were bossinpulled nd making so much space. There wingers caused us a lot of problems.

1st half Jerome had a good cukick g shot, only good thing he did and O Keefe had a tame shot. They had good move down the left and it had to be Watson who scored. Was a muted celebration.

Injury to Parr looked like he was out cold, 8 minute stoppage before stetchered off with neck brace although he did manage a little wave.

2nd half we were better but just not good enough. Guerdino had a good shot. Gayle and Wilbo came on and should have started. Corner in, Gayle flicked it accross the box and Wilbo srambled it in. Gayle had good run and shot that was well saved. Paddy got free from a free kick but header straigth at keeper

Wigan were still having more off the ball and for their second goal all opened up and they took the lead.

Last few mins and injury time we did go for it, Gayle was pulled down in box, should have been a penalty and Wilbo had couple of half chances. Other end they should have a third, broke threw two against Speroni who saved well.

Overall a poor performance. Good to see Paddy play 90 mins and looked good enough to me as cover. Lets hope Tuesday is a much better performance.

Started poorly, improved halfway with a few errors here and there, but a strong enough finish. Sobering up whilst typing is a funny thing to observe.

Nothing to be too negative about. Beside the fact that Gayle didnt start. I dont see the can jam appeal. If he doesn't start in a cup game when does he? Does height matter that much, Pulis?

Despite some of the regulars not starting, there was room for others to start. I.e. Gayle, wilbs, boateng, price etc. If we had won it would've been a gamble paid off taking the confidence into the next game. Now we've got a few regulars more tired coming off the back of a loss for an important game.

I am back from the game, Bradford.

Parr in first half was error prone, we did not get going and really missed Jedi.

All i can really say is

I Was there on the day that Wilbs scored for Palace.

Just got back from game,
Took my daughter to her first game and she had a really good time and learnt all the songs
I think she will make a good palace supporter at the end she said 'at least we scored one daddy'
And she was there the day Wilbraham scored a goal!

I was at the game, slightly disappointed at our performance.

The bad: Mariappa had a nightmare at right back today, it amazes me as to why he's constantly in that position. Chamakh and Jerome were ineffective up front, Bannan's corner was over the line and we should of had a penalty.

The good: Paddy was surprisingly solid, he kept Maynard quiet and got a great reception from the fans. Gayle's run and shot was impressive, he was very nearly a game changer.

just got home...very poor

dont really think anybody can come out of that game with any credit.

IMO the pen wasnt stonewall, more 50/50 gayle went looking for it as he was running away from goal...then it was quite funny when he tried to square up against boycie!

nice stadium, if we develop SP it should be along those lines!

plus points...lager was £3:20 a pint.

No I am not bothered either we have got much more important things to dwell on. Hope Jonny Parr is going to be OK otherwise it will have been an expensive afternoon in terms of player availability.
