I would like to see a seven - two - two - two formation - seven who have started at least one of the last three matches, two squad members who have not started any of those matches - two young players starting - two young players on the bench -- with a further amount of strength and first team experience on the bench. There would be room for Lewis Price to start. Does this approach appear useful?

Surely it's time to blood some of the youngsters? Keep a bit of freshness for the Hull game.

Beat Wigan and any home ties thereafter will be just the job.

Price Mariappa...McCarthy...Delaney...Moxey Boateng...O'Keefe Williams...Guerdiora...Bannan Gayle Subs: Speroni; Gabbidon; Parr; Puncheon; Bolasie; Chamakh; Jerome. Giving Gabbidon and Delaney one half each and resting totally Ward and Jedinak plus, hopefully, Chamakh, Bolasie, Puncheon, Speroni, Jerome and Parr. It would, of course, be nice to win but beating Hull on Tuesday is vastly more important.

Most the above suggestion indicate no break for Delany and Gabbidon Wilbraham Gayle combo worth a try. OR Bannan / Gayle with Bannan behind in the hole. Edited by sueagle2012 (24 Jan 2014 8.49am) Edited by sueagle2012 (24 Jan 2014 8.51am)
