Having watched that shoot out at Moan U last night I can safely say I have moved on from JP's at Spurs. Hopefully we have somebody with a bit more confidence lined up for our next one

Not one of them was as bad as Puncheons.
I would wager JP takes the next one.

Chamakh has to step up next time... if he misses I guess punch and gayle can both turn round and say I told you so.. and we may aswell never win a pen again

I'm not sure to be honest, we've just had a debate in the office about whether Phil Jones' was worse than Puncheons.....most agree (including our suicidal United Fan) that Jones' was worse just for the pathetic way he struck the ball and still managed to sky it

Mass debating in the office is not very productive.
Although there were some poor penalties last night not one of them came close to being as bad as JP'S.

I think Pulis has already said that he will remain our penalty taker and that nice finish Vs Stoke should reinforce this decision

Very similiar. Puncheon's penalty ended up in the crowd at Old Trafford too.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Yeah, but I doubt Puncheon will ever take another penalty that badly in his career.

In the end it doesn't really matter if you miss by an inch or put it into row z, it still doesn't count. The whole mocking of JP was understandable, but exaggerated beyond need. Beckham took a worse penalty against Turkey and recieved no where near the same level of stick.

Sometimes its just a horror show.

Trying to think, I cannot remember Palace ever being in a shoot out ?

DJ John Peel once said: "Supporting Palace has a certain cult value, like pretending that some Peruvian rock band is the best in the world."

I can. Midweek league cup game against Leicester, I think.

It finished about 10.30-11pm.

And Cardiff two years ago after beating Man U.

Sunderland 2004, Palace won the play-off semi final 5-4.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
