For anybody who dosent care if we dont sign anybody in Jan

We have the quality already. Lets not gamble with our future again

Signing quality players is not a gamble of our future if done correctly. And I would argue we do need some more quality as we have scored the fewest goals in the league this season

It's a gamble with our short-term future not signing anyone. There is a choice of spending:

a) nothing
b) something
c) as much as QPR

We're vulnerable with any injury or suspension at CB and we cannot definitely rely on any of Chamakh, Gayle, Jerome, Murray to get us enough goals to win us games if they don't pan out in the way we'd like (scoring 1st and alert defending thereafter)

Put another way, this the "I think I know more than Tony Pulis" thread. In other words, an open forum for people to make fool's of themselves.

I know a lot more than TP about somethings but I know nothing about managing in the EPL. Good news is that I seem to be in good company ( Poyet? Moyes? Allardyce?) We are 17 points behind last year's EPL champions! Any odds on that?

Actually, beneath the mirth there's a good point here. You don't know more about managing in the Premiership than Moyes or Allardyce, but you have about the same amount of experience as Solskjaer, Meulensteen, and Poyet. For me, that actually makes Cardiff, Fulham, and Sunderland favourites to go down. If one of those doesn't, my money's on West Ham to replace them as sometimes a team simply falls apart to a degree that it gains its own downward momentum. We do not necessarily have one of the 17 best squads in this league, but we do have one of the 5-8 best managers and I think that may be enough to keep us up.

goldberg and jordan already made fools of us as a club. A boy from.the youth team was the difference in the play offs between us brighton and watford. Dont forget where you came from and how you got there.

being sustainable as a club means upsetting a few people then i applaud the owners. There is no definitive guide to running a club

Cardiff and West Ham have spent 30m each so buy the spending rule of thumb wont go down then?
