According to The Mirror all is not well between Parish and Pulis. Football journalism is often lazy but I have noticed a couple of quotes recently which could be perceived as Pulis digging out Parish and the structure at Selhurst.

The first was Pulis 'slamming' the Tottenham structure that led to AVB being sacked. It is obvious that was a sly dig at Moody's role at the club.

He has also talked of transfer frustration and then praises the Stoke chairman saying something along the lines of being able to go straight to him if he wanted anything and not having to go through a chief exec.

Myself and the journalist of the Mirror article may well have put two and two together and made five. However, if there is some truth in the article I am with Parish 100%. I love the fact that Pulis is making us competitive but I don't want post-thirty journeymen at palace. We must keep our principles in place.

If there is some truth in this article and I stress the word if it could end us up in all sorts of trouble especially as the Mirror also claims that Pulis doesn't get on with Moody.

One would have hoped that details like this should have been sorted out in general before Pulis was hired and not two months after he joined.

Parish promised him that funds would have been available in the January window and shouldn't really now start dictating what type of player we should be looking for

▲▲▲ This.

Most (all?) Journos, pundits etc.. wrote us off and can't stand the fact that we are not sitting bottom on 7 points and 'down already'. This article stinks of trying to upset the apple cart. Personally if TP thinks a player will do a job for us I would back him 100%.

I'm inclined to disbelieve anything The Mirror writes, especially with a complete lack of quotes to back it up. In fact there doesn't even seem to be the fabled 'club insiders say' or 'according to well placed sources'.

How come if a newspaper writes something positive about us it is a wonderful piece of journalism but anything negative is rubbish and based on lies.

If anyone cares to read laddo's opinion with an open mind surely they would see that it has the ring of truth about it.

If Parish has gone back on his promises (and Dan Gosling will tell you that it isn't the first time) then someone who wanted the fans on his side could quite conceivably have a whisper in a friendly journalist's ear

well said. Managers think new signings make their jobs easier but it dosent necessarily help him and the team, or the clubs sustainable future. When TP came in he identified the defence as needing an overhaul but i think he may have assesed again now.
