Think Tony Pullis should get a massive amount of credit for how we are playing, clean sheets and wins, if we can add to our squad then all good but, we now have a manager that knows what he is doing.

He is also a manager that clearly has had a lot of wrong and unfair press from the media regarding his style of play and managerial ability.

With credit to Keith Millen also, he's sorted the absolute mess that IH left us in, playing anything but the hoof football the whole country associates him with - probably because he was a managing another unfashionable club like Stoke City.

Everybody knows there job now and knows how to do it. We're playing to our strengths, playing nice football and even in defeat against the best teams in the country, coming out of the game with huge amounts of credit and positivity.

I wasn't for the appointment of Pulis, but only because I'm sorry to say I was taken in by the media's portrayal of him. He's a decent bloke and a bloody good manager who isn't just a one trick pony. He can mix it up if need be.

I just hope he can get some of his targets in to help him achieve what we all want this season - survival, but I'm more confident than ever that we can achieve it now.

Surely you can spell his name properly? I mean I know it might sound pedantic but come on. Basic respect.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

The players mental strength has improved remarkably since Holloways departure. It's not that we are so much better than we were in September but we are so much bloody grittier.

Do we really need to buy in the window?

The team spirit seems to be great with the current bunch of players - and we're getting some decent results.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but it's a cracking article from Danny Higginbotham about Pulis and how he sets his teams up.

TP clearly knows exactly what he's doing.

But he needs help in the form of signings. If you were at the game today you would see as clear as everyone else that was that if there ever was a game that showed up our weaknesses it was this afternoon. Chamakh was awful. To be replaced by Wilbraham who actually got stuck in to Stokes defence should have been embarrassing to him. The only good performance was from Guediora who ran out of steam due to match fitness.
Reason we won today? Stoke were worse than us. its as simple as that.
Its great to be out the bottom three and Pulis has proved a miracle worker but he needs help. I pray the owners provide it!

Think a few new players will arrive, possibly from the Championship and/or abroad. Can't see any from the PL due to the nature of the league at the moment. Nobody below 10th will sell/loan anyone useful to us and the teams aboves players might well be too expensive. Possibly get a loanee from a top club but would have to move one of ours on for this to happen. Anyway great result today and even the pundits including Savage are turning their sails. Well done to the fans, players and staff. COYP !!!!!!!!!!!!

You only have to look at the Stoke fans reaction to him today to realise that this is a manager we are lucky to have . Hopefully we will be giving him the same recognition in years to come.
