For nearly 40 years I have cosidered Brighton to be our rivals. Well no more.
I used to hate the lot of them with vengence but they have now proved themselves to be not worthy of my rivalry.

No more homophobic chanting from me as it is old hat.

Poogate has done them no favours anywhere amongst the football boys of any club.

The chant now will be from all clubs

you s*** on the floor
You s*** on the floor
You dirty b******s
You s*** on the floor

showed no class and the animal that did it cant be classed as a human being and yes he has made your club look very tinpot for you.

I know that some of their fans visit this site and have a nose just as I have visited nsc. It seems that never a day goes by without someone on their site starting a thread about Palace.
Jesus, even their own fans are bored with always having Palace mentioned by them.
Constantly going on about how much bigger gates they have than us.Who really gives a s*** (well excuse the pun)
Poyet is now the villan, when yesterday he was the hero. ffs the traitor and not good enough for them when again yesterday he was a hero.
Play offs not fair, when before we knocked them out it was great.

I could go on but what would be the point they are now yesterday and not worthy of my rivalry.

May I suggest that you brighton reading this look further along the south coast for rivals. Dont bother with Southampton or Portsmouth as you are not even on their radar. Bournemouth might have you as rivals but wont give you access to the toilets now just in case.

Oh and as for the video one of your lot took of one of your boys face to face with OB at the station. I am sure that he will thank you for showing his face to every OB on the south coast. You probably gave them better pics than what they had themselves.

Once again Brighton Bye Bye You are not my rival just a club that has supporters that s*** on the floor.
Oh and thanks for making it so easy for us Palace boys to have another great day out at WEMBLEY
Win or loose we went.

I love football rivalries personally. You can't deny this year was one of the most exciting.

We nailed the weed 3-0 at Selhurst, easily one of my favourite games of the past few seasons! They then hit us back with the same result at the gaymex, easily one of my least favourite games of the past few seasons...

But it made it all the sweeter to ruin their whole season by knocking them out of the playoffs in their own stadium, in front of all their 'fans', when even the bookies had them down as strong favourites

This long standing rivalry heightened the experience by a hundred fold for me

As a life long Palace fan I always see the weed as the bigest rivals, I have never had any run in their supporters but something makes me cringe when I see anyone wearing their tesco bag football shirts. It's in the blood from birth, even my 15 year old Son has stressed a recent dislike to them as said in the Palace Moment clip " my job is done"

We are Palace from Selhurst.

Never said I liked them or wanted them to do well.

I just dont think the s*** on the floor club deserve to be our rivals.

Its a privelage for them to think they our rivals and that is a privelage that I wont give them.

Thanks Brighton for the PLAY OFF game at Wembley.

ha ha ha

If we win they will hate us. If we loose they will forget that we all had a great day out at their expense.

ha ha ha

WEMBLEY WEMBLEY.

As a life long Palace fan I have always considered Millwall to be our rivals! We did not play Brighton for years.

While I would not normally bother please note that in particular when writing about the recent event, that lose means a loss of something including a game.Loose means not fixed tightly or when when a crap is not as solid as normal.

I've gotta say this is exactly how I see it. If we'd lost to Watford I would have got over it by now. To lose to palace in such a big game is the worst feeling possible in football.
I hate palace, but love the feeling the week before we play you. We want nothing more than to play you and beat you (tbf doesn't happen often).
I know some of you have millwall/Charlton as your rivals, but for me since I started going to the Albion in the late seventies it's always been palace I hate.
Long may it continue.

The last two seasons have been brilliant, especially living in Brighton and being able to see them implode.
Palace and Brighton are like Steptoe and son,we are Harold trying to better ourselves and leave them behind but keep getting dragged back and they are like the old fella bound to end up doing something embarrassing in the toilets but in the end we still stick by them over all the years.

i would still take the 3-0 loss in the rain for the memories of the 2-0 or the 5-0 or the 3-2 or the 3-1 or the 3-0,

One supporter of hacking argued that without it "you will do away with the courage and pluck of the game, and I will be bound to bring over a lot of Frenchmen who would beat you with a week's practice -Blackheath secretary at first meeting of the F.A

Brighton will always be our biggest rivals ... fact! And Millwall a close 2nd as our local rivals ...

Couldn't care less about Charlton ... they just exist!

Glad the feeling is mutual! Do you guys have any other big rivals, like our Millwall/Charlton thing?
