As the season comes to an end, HOL Radio also draws to a close in the next couple of weeks.

It's been a big year for us with new people joining the team and more people listening and downloading than ever before.

Looking over the list of podcasts we've really had some great moments following the fortunes of Palace this year.

What has been incredibly noticeable this year is that we could not have done this without the support of a good number of you who have donated your time, items and money to our cause.

Our one aim is to keep improving - and we have some huge ideas for where we go with this next. We've taken on a couple of new producers who will be learning the ropes and taking some of the burden of organisation from the rest of us.

Whilst what we have been donated this season has been a huge help, we've still had to delve deeply into our own pockets for equipment, travel, software and broadcast costs. We don't really mind, because we love doing it, but we've had to cancel a few things this season that would have been great down purely to the lack of funds.

So there it is - we want to come back bigger and better than ever next season, but we need our fantastic army of listeners to help us do so.

Not a bad shout - but whenever we do fundraising we end up deciding it is better to raise money for the Geoff Thomas Foundation instead! Events are very much on the cards for next season - some 5 a side and hopefully a live broadcast with an audience.
