A damning critique of the town our weed friends say is so lovely compared to Croydon. And from a long-time resident too: "The pick of the bunch is unquestionably London Road: a characterless, sprawling mess inhabited by benefit-scrounging peasants, waddling along with fat bags of economy frozen food from Iceland, puffing away on a cheap Mayfair and possessing an aroma not too dissimilar to the spinal column-infected burgers they feed to their asbo’d-up kids. Despite what the Clampets may believe, London Road is universally loathed."

brilliant ! The weed fans believe that all palace fans live in Croydon, and that we all spend our time burning down houses and collecting our benefit money.May have to post this link on their s***e NSC FORUM, as they also believe that weedland is paradise on earth, a place free of crime, drugs, scroungers and anything else bad. The truth is Brighton fans feel intimidated coming to Selhurst walking around South Norwood high street. Whereas I think 100% of our away support can't wait to go there. They even do it when they're winning ...... heavily!
I understand that out of 25,000 people there will be a small percentage of people who HAVE to leave early. Work, pregnant wives, long journeys home etc. But there are an awful lot of people who leave early simply because they don't want to stand in a queue for half an hour. Real shame as today IMO the players deserved a full stadium at the final whistle. The solution? Improve the transport (more park and rides busses and better transport management) and more incentives to stay behind (discounted food/drink) ...... .....a parade?

Just seen a facebook group "Will Buckley" post up the event for the game on the 17th (obsession). But then I had a look at some of the attendees, all living in Patcham, Shoreham with their Man United cover photos, Chelsea kit wearing fans. I'd love to post em up on here but I don't want to do anything that could get me into trouble.

You must realise that not just us but all teams who come to your excuse for a ground find it really digusting, the area is awful, I worked in croydon and you cant walk from the fairfileds halls to east croydon station at night without risk of being mugged or stabbed, south croydon is even worse. Its the only area I know that like this, we went to Charlton and Millwall and there are no problems there.
Come to Brighton this weekend it will be a treat to be some where nice where people dont want to stab or rob you Enjoy
