I used to smother them in a mixture of ketchup and mustard, they were almost edible. But i'd buy one everytime unlike nowadays.

If you went to the burger var that was in the New Stand in the 1980s straight after the game you got them for half price, needless to say the amount of games i went to and stayed hungry till full time

Yearsback I saw a burger seller put a bun under his arse once and lay a flat one and sell it to me without blinking an eye. It actually tasted better than what I had bought from him before so it then became a matchday ritual.

I miss him.

I always bought mine after the game so I only had a 15 minute walk home before the squits kicked in.

 


A five year old child could do this! Somebody fetch me a five year old child.
