After last night sitting in front of someone who kept saying daft things, it's reminded me of other annoying fans I've sat next to in the past.
In the days of Bruce Dyer playing for us I sat next to this older lady who kept saying "Woooo, Brucie, give me a Brucie Bonus".
Does anyone else sit next to fans who really get on your nerves with annoying comments?

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

There's a lad of about 19 in holmesdale block B who makes the most unfunny comments and tries to start versions of chants that he has personally tweaked to give them a new edge. He has a very annoying voice.

In terms of displaying a lack of knowledge about football, the all time great has to be fronm last night when I overheard one bloke ask his mate "In Holland, what division are PSV in?"

Last season I was a bit late and missed the first couple of minutes of the match. The steward said to me "hurry up we're winning 0-0"

I've sat in Block F Row 10 of the Holmesdale Lower Tier for the last 3 years and finally have had enough of two blokes who sit in Row 11 behind us. They talk non-stop for 90 minutes and looking at the pair of them they've probably never kicked a ball in their lives and yet know all the answers. They're like Hinge and Bracket. It got to the point where it's time for fisticuffs and so we've now moved over to Block C Row 34. Fingers crossed that you guys over there, where there always seems to be a good atmosphere , talk a bit more sense.

Always used to sit in front of these two blokes who had a little running commentary going between them. They were pretty funny with it though. However, one cup match last season I moved over to the Holmesdale.... Again 2 blokes, but a far less funny running commentary. It was against Oldham I think, so a comfortable victory, yet in their eyes our worst display in all their years of support. But what was worse was Popovic was referred to as Poppy, Granville as Granny, Kolinko as Klown, and various others I can't remember. "Oh Poppy, that was awful, go sit with the Klown" was one comment thats stuck with me. I've never ventured into Block F of the Holmesdale since....

During my season ticket days a few years ago we sat in front of the biggest w***er and his young son Adam. This kid was sent from satan.

Every game we saw the little s*** run up those steep steps and begged someone to push Adam back down to the certain death/injury below.

I didn't renew my season ticket because I moved but a small part of the reason was cos of Adam

He even thought Leif was a good player

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

For a last few seasons I have had some old woman sitting behind me and all she ever says is COME ON PALACE, WATCH IT PALACE, and then she has a strange one where she just starts signing "footballers, footballers". Also has false teeth which just makes it sound worse. Also there is a bloke in the row in front who turns up to every game totally hammered and just starts shouting abuse at the opposition fans which can be entertaining. He gets so mad his face turns a purple shade and it looks like his about to explode. Seen a fair few nutters over the years.

I can't see a nutter where I sit.

Although everyone around me thinks there is one.

Excepting the age, I'm now worried that this might be me......

I think there's always someone annoying sitting nearby if not maybe a nutter. I spent last season surrounded by two dweebs who had no idea what they were talking about and a group of young lads who are also pretty annoying.

I used to have an elderly guy sitting next to me in the Arthur Wait. He started off harmless enough, but after a few seasons started losing the plot. He seemed to have completely forgotten he was a Palace fan and started supporting the away teams, and saying how that bald bloke from Italy was the worst player he had ever seen at Palace. He stopped going, but bizarrely I saw the poor fella on a bus a couple of years back spouting gibberish to everyone.

And it looked like Pardew.......yes it was definitely Pardew...I say

I sat behind her for the Watford match, in the upper tier and couldn't work out why she was singing "footballers footballers" when everyone else was singing red n blue army....strange woman
