On the back of the Davids/Bennett story, what are your favourite Palace training ground punch up stories? True or mearly rumour. I'll start the ball rolling with these two from the mid 80's:

IAN WRIGHT & JIM CANNON: During a 6-a-side match Wrighty nutmegs Cannon, scores and celebrates. Cannon then punches him in the back of the head and pushed his face in the mud shouting: 'Don't ever do that again you flash little c***!'

MARK BRIGHT & GAVIN NEBBLING: During a youngens v oldens training match, Brighty calls Nebbling 'Mad Dog' after Gavin chases the ball all over the place, never getting anywhere near it. Nebbling headbutts Bright square in the face, leaving blood pouring down Brighty's face.

Didn't Pollack have Rubins up against the wall and tried to hit him before the rest of the team seperated them in the dressing room? Thus resulting in a huge lack of confidence in Rubins and an eventual return to Latvia.
Or am I just talking a load of old Pollacks

Palae trained at my school once when the training pitch was waterlogged, obviously skipped lessons to watch.

Andy Frampton and Tommy Black had a fight half wa through in which a few punches were thrown. I remember one of the reserve team playerd remarking that "tommy and framps are at it again".

Dont think they were the best of friends. Oh well, both turned out to be s*** anyway. Maybe they were fighting over who was s***ter.

Wasnt it Jordan and Pollock in the changing room?

You've also got Jasper Carrott's sidekicks slap on Kolinko, which more funny than anything else. PFA getting involved etc. Think Francis ended up being officially disciplined by the club over it.

Andy Linnigan chinned SJ in Marbella in front of Bruce and was handed his P45. Shame, we could have got another season out of him.
