There was no trouble, huge number of younget lads turned out for the cause, sang our hearts out all day and the scenes after the announcement we're crazy, utterly indescribable.

Would love to see a clip of that moment

Doesnt do it justice, the wall of death we had going on earlier was quite a sight in the city.

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I have been on my lap top all day whilst having SSN on.Our fans were tremendous but when i switched over to get the London news down here and saw those fans singing and celebrating i was in tears.

Wow, being a rather prominent figure through most of the overshots on that video ( I'm the blonde knob in the coat at the bottom of the screen trying to simultaneoulsy film everything while frantically swirling my scarf, or whatever the scientific term for that is) I have never been so self conscious as to my bereft talent of scarf waving. Everyone else seems to have it down to a fine art, I stick out like a machine gun at the battle of Hastings, so bad is my attempt.

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

Well done you lot. I'm sure loads of us would have been there if we could have but you were there.

If we are saved you should be called onto the pitch for a minutes "rapturous applause" for the Lloyds protest heroes.

I'm sure there were lots of other dynamics involved but you lot were part of it.

Many Thanks

Sums it up well. Went up there at lunch, it was just getting going as I was leaving which was a shame. Good natured. I was surprised there were not many older faces up there, probably due to work. I must get a palace tie. There was a gentleman up there wearing one and it is a good way to discretely show your colours. I too would never wish that on anyone.

Jesus weird looking back at this, feels like a lifetime ago. Makes you realise that although we may moan about Andy Dorman, why we don't play two up front and why the coffee in the Holmesdale tastes like hot water with gravel in it, our relationship with this club is so deep that we were willing to do this to help save it. So proud that I was there, something I can look back on with real pride

Can I sincerely thank all who went upto london to stand and sing at the Bank.

Your efforts are truly great and worthy to go down as people in a minority making a stand.

Well done! Even though we are a small club we are a huge hearted one that has the respect of other clubs for loyalty.

Heres to getting promotion in 2013.

And you can all look back to your grandaughters and sons and tell them the tale of saving the Palace.

Due to boredom I was reading through some threads in Gold talk. Bet the above wished they had put a bet on the bit in bold

Ah well
