Thanks to HMHS, Bexter and Pete for a really absorbing discussion over the last few days. I've not added a comment I'm afraid to say because I haven't got such a strong opinion either way: I fear we aren't being told half of what the authorities know, be it for or against. I just came on here to say what a shame it was that the discussion disintegrated into a tirade such as Pete came out with. Why is it that some people can't tolerate an opposite point of view? But it was nice to read a good, hefty discussion between people who believe passionately in their point of view, at least until the brown stuff hit the fan on page 11! Moose P.S. 7.00am is far too early for any sensible human being to be prowling around, let alone Beulah Hill.

Thanks Moose, I really enjoyed it too and thought Pete put his arguments across in a really interesting way (I even found myself looking up black shirts and Oswald Mosely so a learning curve for me too!). It is a shame it fell down - I will miss it. Ho hum, and yes, at 7am one should just be in the comfort of ones flat.... kinda right by the open window...

Threads such as these need both sides to make it so entertaining and informative. How boring would it be if everyone agreed with each other. I hope Pete hasn't gone cos we need a right winger (like Palace) to stimulate debate with the lefties!
