Quote alex at 28 Jan 2003 7:56pm

Project work for oldchap, Saxon etc:
Have you clocked that nearly every pub in South London is staffed by one or more (beautiful) East European barmaids?
Well here's what you do (task to be completed before Ipswich match). Chat-up barmaid (I can supply lines - for a fee). Take her to Ipswich match. After we have beaten tractor boys 10-1, make love to beautiful East European barmaid.
Hopefully, if not pregnant already, beautiful East European barperson has babies who are trained up as Palace supporters (so swelling ranks, so impressing Croydon council etc etc) and (who knows?) new Aleks Kolinkos (sans big Konk).
Result! Result!

None of the pubs I know have beautiful East European barmaids - any tasty birds are English, so presumably the ugly ones are from eastern europe? And I've got too much respect for my dick (even at my age) to go anywhere near them.

Offspring might not have a big hooter - remember the acne kid

No eastern europeans either, lots of Kiwis and Aussies but they can't really be classed as asylum seekers can they?

Its not just the Mirror & Sun - the Mail & Express are also talking about unacceptable levels and the "tide of disease and terrorism pouring into the country". The tories are even talking about putting them in prison so they cant do a runner.

Think about this, there are about 58 million people in England and over 1 million illegal immigrants. Look at areas where there are large groups, crime has soared Coincidence?

It's good to read that the "Socialist Workers" are taking advantage of freedom of print.Even if it's somewhat misguided. One should wake up & smell the coffee !

Interesting thread. Not going to go into it but i would like to say that I have felt for at least the last 10 years that this country is run by the media. If they don't like a member of the cabinet they will just keep going and dig up any dirt there is until "they" get them out. When the government makes any statement or does anything (well not this lot, they don't do much unless Washington tells them too) their first thought is what are the papers going to say.

The papers will play on peoples fears just to sell papers. That's all their in it for. Not for a better Britian but to make money.

Just to demonstrate, how much tax do you think "News International" paid in there last accounts? Maybe some of our "accountants" can help me out here but I beleive it was under 10%. Whereas most companies pay more than double that.

Pampering to the media. That's what the government do.

Did you know the that the Mirror Group (MRN) have a large marketing team that research public opinion and 'journalists' write stories on the back of the research? Fact.

heh heh heh, we're all so gullible. We're puppets on strings, God damn it, we're AMERICAN!

I think Keith Murray said it best when he rapped

I'm sure you'll agree.

I hope you're not including the mighty John Pilger in that statement. He's not a 'journalist' he's a feisty, opinionated genius who is always right... much like myself!
Cracking article he has written in the (spit) Mirror today....

It's interesting reading these comments from the other side of the world, when i dont have access to the british media.

You think the problem is bad now ? ?

you wait till we finish bombing Iraq, the problems going to be a hundred times worse, we'll destroy their country and leave them to clear up the mess like we did in 1991 and thousands of them will head for the good old UK.

Then what u going to say ?

Four fried chickens and a coke.
Is that chicken wings or chicken legs honey ?
Four fried chickens and a coke.
And some dry white toast.
