Carlisle United. My parents were born there and my old man's a mad keen fan. If Palace is away up North and Carlisle are playing a London team away I'll usually try and get to the game. Also because Helen Skelton [Link] goes to a lot of the games in London and she is fit.

My second league team is Rochdale. When I 1st started looking at all the league tables - during 1977/78 season they were at the bottom of 4th division, surviving re-election. It was an achievement for them then to get an away win. Went to there play-off final at Wembley (2007/0. Any chance that anyone remembers a brilliant Keith Welch save against Palace in the 5th round of the FA Cup? At the time I said it reminded me of The Banks save against Pele.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

Hartlepool UTD, I think it was about 1991 around that time they was getting absolutely hammered week in week out in div 4 so I started following them, the same season they went on a masisve run and got promoted, they had the likes of Lenny Johnrose, Joe Allon, Paul Baker etc.I wnet to see them against Aldershot (won 5-1) then Aldershot went bust straight after and then I went against Maidstone (won 4-1) then Maidstone went bust straight after so beware clubs, when I go see Hartlepool against your team your going to the wall soon after. Not really surprised that Maidstone went bust, we turned up and their gates were wide open and people were just walking in without paying, unbelievable. I remember about 65 brilliant Keith Welch saves in that game.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) I lived there for 15 years, saw some pretty good games there, Vinny Samways played for them for quite a few seasons.
