That is not correct, if you are living on state pension only, and many are, you will not qualify for pension credit, as it is set lower than the state pension amount so you do not qualify. The new chancellor could have amended it, but she did not. The new government does deserve credit for tackling things which just seem to have been totally ignored. For me the new chancellor though, is 'the weakest link'.
