What's the betting this happens before anything on Selhurst Park?

Is good though, I welcome the news, just thought I'd get that particular resentment off my chest

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

When you look at a map of South London, you realise just how much potential Crystal Palace Park has.

Sadly it has not reached its full potential ever since our glass building burnt down.

Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford

Visitors often get confused thinking Palace play there.

Great news always loved Crystal Palace Park and it's uniqueness.

Didn't they refurbish the dinosaurs already - about 8-10 years ago I think it was?

Yes, Becky, they did do the dinosaurs about 10 years ago. I think.
£17 million on a few shrubs is exceptional value.
You have the Crystal Palace Park Community Association to thank for the continual stalling of council attempts to refurbish the Park, and this is just window-dressing, compared to what Bromley wanted to do with their Masterplan, back in 2007

Dinosaurs will return to roam the Earth before THAT happens.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Excuse my ignorance, but, has Bromley Council got full control over CPP?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

When you say 'control', CPP is actually a huge money pit, with very little in the way of income streams. But Bromley have been stuck with it. Fishing permits, a very rare concert or sporting event are the only incomes I can think of. just maintaining the existing stuff is hugely costly. Grass cutting, tree management, maintaining flower beds and operating the museum and stopping the concrete structures from falling down (dinosaurs and NSC).
That's why Bromley wanted the Masterplan, which included selling a small parcel of land to developers to finance major long-term refurbishment.
