According to a few reports Roma want to offload Abraham for fee in the region of £25mil. With the money we got from Olise and what we might get for Édouard this would still leave us with enough for a replacement for Olise and possibly another one or two players. It would also give Mateta some serious competition. I see him as a Glasner type of striker with his height and strength. Would love this.

Totally agree. I've always thought he'd be great for Palace. Let's hope it happens!

A few months ago, a loan was taken out by the club on the future sale of Olise, that has to be paid back. There is also other loans to be paid, ie: from the shareholders. I don't think there will be much left out of the fee, do you?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

But realistically none of us really know the ins and outs of the financial aspects of the club. I just hope we can get a couple more players in to give us the squad depth we need and to push on to even greater hights than at the end of last season. Surely if Edouard leaves we need to replace him as there is no really viable option should Meteta get injured. As mush as I would love to see Abraham at Palace, realistically I can see us getting Iheanacho on a freeby, which I would not be against at all.

Not saying he's going to replace Mateta but if Glasner can up his confidence and he has the right support he could be a good backup.

What are the other outstanding loans value to be paid off?

It makes sense I believe it is a short term loan so that we can do our transfer dealings without having to wait to sell a player. I think it is due to be paid back in months rather than years.

Always thought he was a good player. However, this would surely involve offloading Eduard but I can see any takers given he is on £85k a week. The scourge of the free transfer.. he doesn’t need to kick a ball and will earn nearly £5m next season.
