i would agree with you. However the hardcore UVF is mirrored by the hardcore IRA types. All drug dealers & thugs. Sinn Fein's optics are not good in all of this. UVF/IRA all best avoided.

Because of votes & demographics, the apartheid days are over. Its Impossible to recreate the Protestant majority of 1921.

However , there is a sensible moderate Unionist voice that mirrors a sensible moderate Nationalist voice.....a huge percentage of people overall. Not interested in conflict and very worried about the direction the UK & Ireland are going.

Christianity is underpinning much of this.

Meanwhile, our children plot moving abroad before they've anywhere near finished school. At least we now have a higher percentage of immigrants population than the UK (from official statistics). We're now at 20th place in the immigrants list. UK is at 21st. We've a few golds at the Olympics so all good.
And, yes, apparently we're rich. So come over and experience the richness. Just don't try and rent a house or go out for a meal or stay in a hotel or get medical care. Make sure you have travel insurance that will fly you straight home.
