Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

So there may well be millions in damages and legal fees, when the BBC runs out of money the Govt will fund with our money

In any case the BBC, like any large organisation, pays out all sorts of 'extra-curricular' stuff all of the time (unfair dismissal and other employment-related claims, defamation, environmental impact etc etc).
