I agree, this is a very fair appraisal of the situation with JRS. I also think we have been a little unfair in holding him back he should have gone out on loan again instead of warming the bench with no real match time to improve his game craft. I also do not think that he is anywhere near EPL standard at this time and he may well end up a very good championship level player in the future and earn a very good living at that level. Time will tell, in the meantime sell on and take the cash! Hopefully with aa better and bigger squad we no longer need to hold on to people to fill bench slots. Letting DO go out on loan was a good move. Cant see us needing to keep JRS and Franca around, at least one of them needs to go out

According to some ITK on twitter - he has now joined up with the squad in USA and was unwell which is why he never flew initially

Deciding to stay and fight for a place. I’m not convinced by him but he has earned the right of a fair chance, and it won’t be the last time I’m wrong.

According to click bait and the BBS Sheffield United have won the race to sign JRS on a season loan. The good news is that they will pay his wages plus a loan fee to us. Hopefully this is a win win for both club and player.

I think this is the final loan for JSR, he has the talent, but by the time 2025/6 season starts he will be almost 23, i hope he lights up the Championship, and comes back a starter for Us.

i think this is a good deal all round. JRS would have limited impact, probably predominantly from the bench, so at his age game time is imperative. A championship loan was an obvious stepping stone. Some of the recent click bait stories have been pathetic e.g. he refused to go on the US tour. When i read this i knew he was either injured/unwell or a loan had been agreed in principle. As a CPFC employee he clearly couldn't refuse to travel. We now know it was the former.
