Older player for a season or two to "lead" Mitchell as we are very exposed in that position, especially if Mitchell gets crock, and TM can only benefit from the comp. Positive: E12M value with Inter pedigree and 20 German caps. Negative: older, no sell on and will he only join with an expectation he will start? BTW, 5 years ago anyone posted this rumour would be met with "LOL" responses and chuckling emojis.

Plenty to agree with you here on and goodness knows that both versatility and experience that the club can afford that is within sound reason to most importantly keep us in the Premiership for another season or two is cash well spent. That we want to push further in League standing and Cup Games by way of qualitative depth is obviously next step on.
