May not be a popular opinion but Édouard is a decent back up striker and we may not be able to get anyone reliable unless we get quite a bit of money for him. I don't think we're going to get 25 mil. I heard 15-18 being touted. Would we get much for that? I'm sure there are players out there but in this case I wonder if it's better then devil you know. I thought he was ok when he played last season.

Edouards problem is he's just a No9, in today's game that's not enough, haaland has 63 goals in 66 appearances for city and his ability and impact on the pitch is questioned weekly so what chance does Edouard have.

Oh look, it's our friend Fabrizio Romano again. He's just repeating clickbait from a month ago. I do hope it's right though, Eduard's so lazy and frustrating to watch.

Doubt any bid will come close to his current wages. We should consider offering some kind of subsidy for him to see out his contract elsewhere.

100 games, his best game was his debut.

If he goes he would have to be replaced. Fingers crossed that Dougie has options in mind.

In a years time he will leave on a free transfer, give him a free now and save the 5m wages, and loan someone for a year, Ayew is better than Edouard at CF
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Better to get £10m than £5m? I'd be happy for him to be the back up striker next year. Except his contract is up so better to get some money out of the situation to help fund the replacement. I doubt it will be easy but I'll delegate that job to Freedman. He'll probably want to stay and get a £10m deal when he leaves for free next year.
