Looking at clips he is almost exclusively left footed. If Guehi stays he could play the role he did against Villa as DM where he was very impressive. Riad will give us three big lads at the back all of whom have very good feet. Edited by dreamwaverider (15 Jun 2024 11.42am)

He grew into the role and could certainly do a job there but I doubt he will play there in the long term.

Our biggest failing last year was squad depth as we had a first 11 that could match most clubs. There will be high profile players on the bench next season, hopefully hungry for their chance. From what I’ve seen Glasner will pick the team and system to win without favorites!! I have great confidence in him to rotate correctly and keep everyone happy and playing at their best! Happy days ahead in south London!!

I do not believe a Riad is here to replace Guehi, We lack options at the back. If / when Guehi leaves we will bring in another CB I am sure. Finally we are showing quality in depth for a European push
