No one will look back in 30 years and say remember when we finished 6th and qualified for the Europa league. Us fans want trophies not the outside possibility of one a year later. For me its the FA Cup (and winning that qualifies for Europe anyway! You’re wrong, for Palace that will be a successful season. Just like us olduns go on and on about finishing 3rd over 30 years ago. No trophy but it was a special season. Yes it would be great to win a major trophy, but all clubs have different levels of what they regard as success. Counting the trophies might be important to the fans of top clubs, but we’ve had our own success over the years. We still remember and go on about relegation battles from donkeys years ago, so I’m sure finishing 6th nowadays with all the money thrown around by the top clubs will live long in the memory

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Actually you saying that mate, it bugs me when Gala keeps singing freed from desire now instead of Eze’s on fire, she needs to give her head a wobble

No, but they will say 'remember that time we hosted Roma at Selhurst' or 'remember the away day in Amsterdam'. The opportunity to play those sort of fixtures shouldn't be sniffed at! But if we were to win the FA cup we'd qualify for Europe anyway wouldn't we?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
