It's why FFP doesn't work it would be a lot easier if they simplified the rules and allowed those who had money to inject it into the club legally. FFP should be about stopping clubs borrowing too much money as Pompey did.

But wasn't it equally so to stop teams like City just buying their way to success?

Well that's what they are trying, and apparently failing to stop, and any sponsorship has to be at market rate. (presume the old 3 competitive quotes and all
