Maybe guehi and Henderson were already there but it’s taken 10 games under Glasnor to get two more in the squad. How good is our manager ?

More importantly how long before the FA target him as Southgate’s successor?

The age old question; would you rather see England win something or Palace?

But an England team with Palace players winning something? I would take that all day.

And for the next 60 years we can go on about Palace winning the Euro’s, just like the Spammers fans keep going on about West Ham winning the World Cup in 66

It's always been this way, quality not quantity as they get over priced as it is...

We are an example of stepping stone club - which I don't mind at all.

They come to palace to get prem experience and improve and move on.. I'm fine with that, means we are doing something right.

If that starts happening we will become very rich. Probably be the only football club creating a tax liability.
Personally I would rather they come because of our style of football and then maybe the odd one or two go to Madrid or Munich.

You make us sound like Brighton

Has anyone at the club ever said this is our model? If so, we have been s*** at it.
It's spoken of as gospel but the only player in the past 8 years who has joined the club young and then left for a profit is Sorloth and he barely got any Premier experience. We are not Brighton
Anyways, should it be the plan going forward? We possibly have our best-ever squad. Why not try as hard as possible to keep it together for at least one year under Glasner and see what is possible. There does not seem to be any indication that we have to raise 60+ million to stay within the PSR rules

No, we're not under PSR pressure.

The problem is keeping players who want to move. Guehi appears to want to move on if rumours are true. If he won't sign an extension to his contract (2 years left) then this summer IS the time to sell him for maximum profit.

If we can:
- sell GUehi for (say) £50-60m
- keep the rest of our key players and
- invest the Guehi money to strengthen the squad, then we can approach next season with reasonable expectations of challenging for Europe.

BUT there are a lot of ifs and some of us have been following Palace long enough to have seen two very promising teams broken up by the Big Boys luring away our stars. We just have to hope that with Glasner at the helm our key players with release clauses will at least give us one more year.

The manager is very good.

But lets not take this away from the players.

On his day, Eze is as good as anyone in the league, consistency has always been the issue.

Wharton is a generational talent. There is no level that he cant get to

If you did an all time palace XI you'd probably have to include Wharton and he's only played 16 games for us.

A report that German players are allegedly "stunned" by the inclusion of Eze (who?) in favour of Grealish (who they are reported to fear).

If we draw the Bosch, are those boys in for a rude awakening.
