is there a spreadsheet that addresses this topic ? with variables including likelihood of participating in future international duties, fasting during Ramadam, likelihood of getting a red card ( Joey Barton ) etc.

The value of anything is limited to what buyers are really willing to pay. Hence, Estate Agents love to sell a house with 2 or 3 keen buyers vying to sign on the dotted line.

There are stories, from abroad, when any club gets the Premier League sniffing around a player, looking to buy him....they all raise their prices. Often dramatically.
