The most nuts part of what is happening in Germany is that their intelligence services are allowed to legally spy on, and tap the phones of, the AfD. This is a party now polling at just under 20% in the run up to the elections. The implications of what the German state are doing is horrendous.

I know mate - however to think that most political parties aren't spied on is probably a bit naive.

Well, I think it's become so widespread that people are forced to accept all immigration and diversity or they're far right that it's no surprise to anyone. However, I also expect this to strengthen the AfD which will not appease the rabid authoritarian thought police that govern European societies currently. As we all watch them get voted out - one by one. The issue being all you have to do is walk out the front door to almost anywhere to see the failings all around you.
