It would be a shame if Labour got in unopposed.

Perhaps someone would highlight any actual Labour policy?
Crime?
Immigration?
Economy?
NHS?
Housing?
Education?
Off the top of my head these are the people's main concerns as various polls have stated.
They are not: trans rights, gender, diversity or any of that crap.
Add in Muslims and you will get Gaza as a concern. But we know Labour on that.
It's genuinely worrying that there will be four more years of aimless, ignorant government but, this time, with higher public sector pay demands.

To be fair, there's not really any benefit for Labour to show their hand at this point on policy - they don't know when the GE will be and it gives the Tories an opportunity to prepare narratives and ideas in opposition to whatever they propose.

Politically, it makes total sense for them to just sit there and let the Tories implode on themselves for now.

But you're right - as we move to a GE, there will be a time when just being the alternative is not enough and they'll actually have to actually try and win votes and inspire some support.

I've said on here previously, as someone on the left, Labour have given me absolutely zero reason to vote for them so far, beyond the fact they are not the Tories.

Recently the Tories have nicked Labour's ideas.

I wouldn't have a problem if there were true Labour and real Conservatism. In that case, I'd vote Labour personally - which might surprise some. But the constant virtue signalling by both parties and the occupation of the centre ground is not leaving any actual choice. Despite it likely being a waste, I'd vote reform as a protest - not that they'd do any reform that's needed, nor get any mandate. I wouldn't be surprised if there are no reform MPs nor if they are outdone by Pro Gaza candidates. I was always old Labour and felt my vote was negated by Blair. I feel Starmer isn't much different - probably far worse in many respects. As for the Tories - no substance, little competence at all and not much style either. With the current voting system, it's all a bit grim.
