I don't think we all did, Vieira has been a constant failure at all the clubs he has managed, while Glasner has never failed to deliver at all the clubs he has managed.

Well, OK Lanzo, call it posters licence.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Wow. This team suddenly looks like top 6 contenders. Incredible from Glasner and the team.

To think we have Guehi, Doucoure and Lerma to come back in - that is an England International, Last years Player of the Year and a strong contender for this years Player of the Year

Transfer window coming and with Mitchell, Hughes and Clyne transformed we don't 'need' anyone to have a great season next year if the top trio of Eze, Olise and Mateta stay and stay fit.

The back ups of Ayew, Edouard and Franca don't look so great but Ayew has played his part this year (and last night), Franca might come good and Eduoard needs a big year on limited chances if he's to retain his standard of living in a contract year.

We need cover for the Wing backs. I guess we may need to sell to keep in with the financial fair play rules, and that has been shown to be a threat with teeth, but the quality of recruitment (Munoz and Wharton - wow again) has been superb. So we can be optimistic new additions can fit in to the Glasner system and do well.

Ayew was bloody excellent against Newcastle and is still one of our main men.

I don't need to sell my soul...he's already in me.

well he will have a very tough but also nice decision to make Monday Week for Man U game where it looks like both Lerma and Guehi will be available , im sure they will start on the bench but will that be the same for Wolves and Villa, i think Clyne and Hughes would be hard done by on their performances in the last 3 games

There are a lot of factors that will come into play but believe the most basic is the most important and that is fitness and conditioning! I felt ashamed when playing badly and covering (running or jogging) less ground than any other team by some distance! Today our players have improved that characteristic and mid season when most teams go the other way!

Wharton and Munoz help that stat but clearly the next pre season will be the benchmark for things to come!

What a difference a few weeks (and a new manager) makes!

Wasn't that long ago where people on here were bemoaning Eze's wastefulness, Hughes's lack of ability and even Andersen being below standard.

Now it is hard to name one player who has not either raised their individual work-rates or dramatically improved.

Just shows what a tactically aware and a good communicator can do for a lack-lustre underperforming team. He's also done wonders for the supporters' morale! If this continues we can look forward with the confidence for the first time in yonks.

Thank you Mr Glasner and his team ....
