This season, as dire as it has been at times, the last two results have put us pretty much where we have been after 33 games for the last 3 seasons (38, 37, 37 points 20/21 - 22/23). So fully expect us to finish with our usual total of somewhere in the mid 40s.

However, if we add in the Glasner factor, I think we could get as many as 10 more points (giving us 46). We would probably still be in 14th place unless one or more of the teams currently on 42/43 points have a horror finish to the season.

Looking at the remaining games for the other teams, I think it's possible that these teams may not pick up too many points from their remaining games.. especially if Brentford help us out...
Brighton: ManC, Bournemouth, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea.
--------- maybe 4 points - depending on Bmouth, they could Easily lose all them...
Fulham: Us, Brentford, Manc, and luton,
------- maybe 3 pts - assuming losses to Us and Brentford
Wolves: Bournemouth, Luton, ManC, Us, 'Pool
------- maybe 4 points, incl. draw with Bmouth...
Bournemouth: Wolves, Brighton, Arse, Brentford, Chelsea
------- maybe 4 points, assuming loss to Brentford, incl. draw with Wolves...

So with the planets aligning... we could leapfrog them all into 10th. which would have been unthinkable 2 weeks ago.

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

Most players would prefer to be in a team with a chance of winning stuff. We have had a few good games but let's be honest if you were Ebbs or Olise you would probably think about the many rubbish games as well.

Right now the sun is shinning and it's great but all it takes is Glasner to walk away and someone else to get a Doucoure injury and we are back to square 1. Fine margins and all that.

Any team can fall from the top and only a few teams can win things each season. There is no guarantee of winning anything at any club. Ask Harry Kane.
Playing every week and being happy with your circumstances week in week out has to be more important than the distant dream of winning a trophy if one has any sense.
