"Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., his Democratic presidential campaign battered by charges of plagiarism in his campaign speeches and in a law school paper, admitted yesterday that some of his boasts about his college academic achievements were untrue, including the claim that he had finished in the top half of his class in law school.

In a videotaped exchange at a campaign coffee gathering in Claremont, N.H., last April 3, Biden also claimed that he had attended law school at Syracuse University on a full academic scholarship, that he had been named the outstanding student in the political science department as an undergraduate at the University of Delaware, and that he had graduated from Delaware with three undergraduate degrees.

In a statement yesterday responding to a story in the current issue of Newsweek magazine, Biden admitted that these claims were "inaccurate."

I don't see Trump particularly praised on here. although it would be good to do more to annoy those with TDS.

One more point

Biden has gone beyond a joke, at this point.

The only saving grace is that the US president is a mostly ceremonial role. The real power is the House of Congress and all the suits behind the President. The French President has real power and makes decisions. The US President is the head of the armed forces....a bit like the Royal Family here. Also the US President appoints Judges....thats how a nutter like Ruth Bader Ginsberg got to high office. Nutter Clinton appointed the SocLib looney.

Ronald Reagan had also gone senile in office. Mostly all he ever did was attend parties, pose for photos, and kiss babies while giving them balloons. Kennedy spent most of the time chasing the tail of anything pretty in a short skirt and Roosevelt was half dead in office.

Nixon was off his head on drink & drugs most of the time. And Bush Junior had all the intellectual capacity of a spoilt kid buying his way through an elite university.

A goldfish could hold that job-title and the country would trundle on regardless. Biden would probably do more damage if they let him drive a crane or work a coffee machine.
