Losses across the last two years of £53m total. A vague statement of intention from SP about building the new stand but no timeline. Doesn’t look the healthiest balance sheet if they’ve got to find funding for the stadium work, presumably that would be new investment. There is a note right at the end about £45m being raised from shareholders after the year end. That could be to fund the January player acquisitions and to provide cash flow. No surprise that TV money continues to be the bulk of income.

I'm hopeless at reading accounts so feel free to correct me. I maybe getting hundreds of thousands mixed up with millions. From what I can see wages fell from 63% of turnover to 56% which is good news. However this is largely due to turnover increasing by £20m rather than cost cutting. Increasing turnover is always a good thing. However our costs rose by 12.8m which is worrying and little is said as to why. Players or something else? Our pre tax losses rose by £3m. Not sure that is a good thing. The big number is Net Liability this was £36m in 2022 and £64m last year. I don't know how significant this is if at all. So it looks to me despite the happy clappy words in the report that there are some concerning numbers. Anyway over to those of you who can read a report no doubt you will correct me.

No pressure on Glasner then!
