To be fair, he has been buying/selling on here for a few years without a problem, so would hope that this is just an unfortunate error. Edited by becky (07 May 2024 10.25am)

It's odd that benmccarthy has history of selling that exact same seat on here and as far as I'm aware no problems previously. I was sold that same seat by him and I contacted him this morning on WhatsApp to ask what was going on as someone else turned up suggesting I was in their seat. I received the dreaded one tick as I expected. After seeing his seat number and barcode was same as mine we both said "Holmesdale online?" "Yup" The guy I spoke to said they let him in anyway but I imagine a fair few people didn't get in like the previous poster. Must have made a small fortune if they resold it a fair few times and there are more victims. Best we can do is wait and see if benmccarthy comes back and explains themselves as could have had account stolen. It's all very odd as he offered to transfer the ticket to my membership but then said it would be easier to send the barcode. I trusted him when he mentioned transferring to membership but was the lucky one to get in by turning up early enough Edited by eazypz (07 May 2024 2.55pm)
