I actually think we're more screwed if no-one gets poached. The squad is so thin and we're not going have a net spend of >£50m which wouldn't even touch the sides of sorting it out.

I think the biggest issue in how the club has been run over the past 5 years has been our inability to raise any funds for players - everyone gets used until they're so bad that they end up going out on a free to Dubai (Luka), Cyprus (Puncheon).

The only way to upgrade the Hughes, Tomkins etc. is to turn Olise and Guehi into 5 new players.
