Both Chelsea and Man Utd want him according to click.
Olise is a smart guy. A manager is always an important ingredient.
Say no more.

Both have already signed him according to some click bait.

Although, technically Olise has signed for Chelsea.
His brother, Richard, signed a new contract with them.

It is the amount of money where we can not refuse player talking to other club. It is normally required to be paid in one fee and it is rare selling club will accept periodic payments. However it can have other clauses such as buying club is in Europe or timescales such as must be completed by 30th June etc. We are obviously in dark about exact wording in Olise case but it is thought to be 60 million and rumoured to be only clubs in Champions League. If this is correct only 4 English clubs can trigger it plus those in Europe. There is nothing against a club outside these parameters bidding and in practice this will be only time an Auction occurs. They can not then talk to player till they have an agreed bid including stages of payment.

In my view the Textor situation is also relevant as if he is selling up he will want the loans he has made to club repaid. In practice this may mean we have little or no transfer budget for replacement

This is a great clarification of the situation and should be required reading by all the click-baiters. As you say, without having the contract available, it is all speculation
None of the rumoured suitors Newcastle, Chelsea or Man U look particularly attractive. The former do not offer any European footnall, their best players Isak and Guimares are being sought and they have reasonable wing options in the likes of Gordon, Barnes and Almiron. Chelsea are in the Conference league and do not have a manager. United do offer Europa league but likewise are in turmoil with a dysfunctional dressing room. If Ratcliffe is trying to reduce the silly salaries United pay, he may have trouble with Olise, who will likely insist he earns more than the player he is supplanting; Antony, for example, is 200,000 a week.

I think from the evidence so far, Glasner will be a superior manager to any in situ next year fo any of these potential destinations. If I were him, I'd give it another year and see how Palace then stack up against these teams. City and Liverpool may be more likely to join the queue in 2025 as well

It is also about money.
How much does he earn now - do we know?
Put him and Eze on Wilf money now and suddenly other clubs are less attractive.

Put them on Wilf money, and Utd could still double it.

If I were DF, I'd be pointing to the talent that is dying at those clubs. At the min, you are not guaranteed to be challenging for anything, and you could easily go the way of Sancho, Anthony, Martial etc

It was widely reported when he and Eze signed their new contracts that both of them are now on 100k a week. Don't know if that is true but it sounds right.

both Eze and Olise are on excellent money for a non top 6 team. Rumoured to be c£100k a week and both only signed in the last year so they must have been happy with that wage only a few months ago.

Clearly any of the top 6 could probably double their salary, however, both are already multi millions so hopefully money is less of an issue if/when a club makes an approach.

Since the season end the press has ‘sold’ Olise to Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG.
In an ideal world Olise, Palace, or both would say he signed a new contract less than a year ago and that he has no intention of leaving, thus shutting up the stories.
Sadly the world doesn’t work like this and, I suppose like any player, he will be available if the price and conditions are met regardless of any contracts.
