Being linked with the 22yo Hull winger. Looks great on YouTube, as they all do, but Hull fans seem to think he's the business. A few outlets reporting this and saying that we're interested in him and/or Jack Clarke.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I can't see his name without thinking of a combination of Phyllosan and Sanatogen.

Is he one of the 3 just called up from the U21s as an emergency replacement? Yes? No? Sorry, too lazy to check.

However, he is in the England U21s and a LW and of London origin and championship so right within our range.

I wonder if they are already calling him a successor to Zaha?

(He'll be signed by West Ham by August)

Hull signed Philogene from A.Villa for £5 Mill but there is a £15 buy-back clause if Hull are promoted.
Philogene is playing for a very capable manager at Hull, namely Liam Rosenior.

And if they are not?

Open season?

Philogene could of course remain at Hull even if Hull are promoted.

If the player does not want to go to A.Villa, Hull will ask for their permission to keep him.

I was looking at a Hull not going up scenario. They currently sit one place off the play offs and we all know how precarious a route that is.

I will guess. If they stay down, Villa can seek to buy him back but will have to compete. That is where our chance lies?

Olise of course plays off the right and uses his left-foot to great effect.
Philogene is right-footed and has played on both sides but prefers to play off the left.

I think I read Villa have 'first refusal' as well as the buy back clause (ie. they still have first refusal on any deal, regardless if Hull get promoted or not)

Given the season Villa are having, I don't think they'll be too desperate to re-sign Philogene either way - as exciting as he is, the likes of Diaby and Bailey come with far more pedigree (as they should for the fees paid!)

Philogene is a great fit for us - young, exciting forward from the Championship - He's closer to Wilf in playing style, as opposed to Olise or Eze.

They've not long bought Morgan Rodgers either so I cant see them adding another young winger.
