Disasi of chelsea just scored one Jeff would have been proud
of, the doubt you will see as true a lob of an own goal as
Jeff's versus Millwall in about 89. Was a beaut.

I've been looking for this one for years - the clip's over 5min long - scroll up to 3min 40sec and watch Henry Newton's beautifil diving header for Man city playing for Everton. You'll like the city away strip and the cross came from mike Summerbee no less.

Richard Shaw scored some blinders for (against?) us as well. Worth a rewatch.

The Southampton one was on a Danny Baker own goals and gaffs video, he said ‘Richard Shaw and Nigel Martyn were caught in two minds, Abbot and Costello’s’

I've only just noticed the semi-circle of clear ground behind the goal. That space was created after Bill Brown, the Spurs goalie in the first half of the sixties, picked up a dart in the goalmouth. Newton played for Everton in the early seventies, so the space was retained for at least ten years. Blimey - fifty years ago.
