TV moving the games to midweek & train strikes have both been challenging, I still travel overseas midweek quite a lot (often at short notice) & haven't utilised the clubs sell back option - I havent posted the ticket on here either because I worry that if I send over the screenshot of the ticket in the smartphone wallet with the QR code it wont work for the buyer, ( especially with the club sending out ticket updates just 3 hours before the kick off) the last thing I want is someone having difficulties outside the ground - For sure if the club introduced something as being described I will be much more active in making my ticket available through their resell system if I know in advance that I am not going to make it to a game. Through the club website all you have to do is enter in thier client ref and surname and forward the ticket on. A new QR code etc...is then generated for the supporter and is sent to thier email. No need to worry about screenshots.

For season 24/25 Man Utd have introduced a 5% increase in prices as well as the following: -For season 24/25 United has also introduced a new qualification criteria for Premier League matches. To be eligible for renewal, a season ticket holders’ seat must be occupied for a minimum of 17 out of 19 games, an increase of 10. As part of this, however, you are eligible to forward your ticket to an official member, donate the cost to the Manchester United Foundation or return the ticket using the buy-back scheme.

I think the Premier League and its clubs are so worried of there being empty seats when it gets beamed abroad. It’s long been said that one of the things that makes the EPL so attractive is full stadia! I think it’s scandalous that the greedy clubs are increasing ticket prices, that there is no discount for disabled fans and now Spurs are even scrapping OAP discounted tickets!!!
