JS is a Desperate football player who should never have been given a contract extension. I can honestly say I will be happy to see the back of him as a Palace player.

One of the best comparisons I have read on him a couple of years ago is that he is like one of those toy cars that you just wind up and let go.

From my perspective Schlupp is all about pace and aggression in short bursts which at best only suits brief stints as an impact sub so I’m in agreement with those who think he should be moved on.

LWB is a problem position for us. Mitchell is a half decent left back in a back four but he is most definitely not a wing back and I’ve seen little to suggest he is adjusting well to it.

I am still of the opinion that Ayew could be turned into a wing back. He is tenacious enough in the tackle, works hard and will defend when needed. In many ways I think it would be easier to teach him how to defend in Glasner’s style than Mitchell to attack. I know others disagree, but when we have our first 11 choice of players available we will struggle to get Ayew into the team unless we try something creative like this.

I’m in the camp that thinks Glasner will look to strengthen LWB this summer. Adaramola can play this role, but is he good enough for the top level?

I've posted here many times saying the same thing about Schlupp - he's not versatile, rubbish as left back, ineffective as a left winger or left side of a four-man midfield, but really good as an attacking left-sided midfielder - he is world football's last remaing inside left, his pace, power and sweet left foot make him so. He has limited positional sense, which i think improved under Vieira, but as a wing back if he can develop the kind of understanding with the left-sided attacker that Ayew and Munoz have showed he could be very effective, because he does offer a lot more offensively than Mitchell,.
