It's being reported that Guehi is out for 6-8 weeks and that a knee operation has been required.

Not good if true, but it has to be said that we weren't exactly great at defending when he was playing. The problems will really start if we get another injury.

I wonder if this is why Tomkins got a run out V Burnley? A few of the click-bait sites are now reporting it . . . [Link] Edited by eagleman13 (28 Feb 2024 12.36pm)
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

This is just a cunning plan, more cunning than a weasel that has just graduated with a first class degree in cunning. To stop people buying him in the summer. Hopefully the lad is ok.

Guehi will always be a miss given his quality but playing with a back 3 of CBs and possibly a back 5 at times, I am less concerned. There's also the fact we look as though we may be looking more toward forward play, utilising the wing backs and CFs under Glasner, as opposed to knocking it about at the back with no plan for getting it forward whatsoever.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

That cunning plan will somehow lack conviction if you're right that he's ok and he starts playing again in two or three weeks! (I enjoyed the Rowan Atkinson reference.)

could be he only misses Spurs and Luton with a three week gap after that to the Forest game which I would suspect would be his target
