I can see why it might work in lower leagues where a calm down could work better than sending a player off and getting people angry .Its not the laws of the game though ,if they want to make up another sport I say crack on but leave mine alone . The concussion stuff is fair enough ,anything that can be learnt from anyone to protect players is a good thing . Anyone especially those that have followed the game for as long as I have doesn't need an explanation from the ref as they would know by his hand signal on giving the decision or the lino by his flag position. The problems arise when var gets involved and nobody in the ground has a clue whats going on . Simple solution get rid of var . Totally agree ruining football.
