So doing nothing is an option. Your very position is quite typical from all sides of the house. The truth hurts but normally sorts out problems from home to whole countries. Get off the fence and actually help cure the ills, don’t hide quietly behind a column nodding out of sight!
My colours no pun are nailed to the mast like others on here ref immigration as well but sadly are deemed far right, racist and extreme for the views; which if put into practice would help the majority and that fundamentally is where ruling starts from.

Beak you said previous that PM is paid to do something. Ok then he brings in sending back illegals and searching more black kids for knives guns and drugs. Basically what a lot would advocate but not say out of fear from reprisals etc. Do you think this would be the PM doing his job better ?

I agree that punishment for knife crime needs to be harsher.

Many offenders and killers are under 18, for carrying offences corporal punishment might be better to give a wake up call to some.

Young offenders institutions ,more likely to guarantee a life of lawlessness.

You cannot say Khan is blameless in this, although you do which is bizarre, he is in charge of the Met.

By your logic the next PM will also be to blame by virtue of being PM.

show us some examples from history & geography where that has worked.

my personal favoured solution would be to not live in a neighbourhood with high knife crime. Cos you can punish them all you like....its still not safe to walk the streets, or around Betts Park, Penge. Or Johannesburg, or Kingston Jamaica.....whereas Tokyo is so safe you could sleep on the streets with your wallet sticking out your back pocket and not get robbed.

I did NOT say that Khan is blameless but he is NOT in a parliamentary role where he can pass laws,however the Prime Minister and the majority party can,so yes you are correct I feel the buck stops with whoever the P.M. is.After all knife crime is a national scourge.
